Adam Lambert ‘If I Had You’ Single Cover – PHOTO

Adam Lambert had a happy day in Helsinki, Finland, Sunday, signing autographs for a throng of fans at a local mall, and later performing “Whataya Want From Me” on the Finnish version of X Factor.

What better way for Adam to end an awesome day of international promo, than to tweet excitedly about his brand-new single, “If I Had You”, the third single off his debut album, For Your Entertainment.

First, Adam tweets the new cover, shot by good friend, photographer Lee Cherry,   also the co-creator and director of  the Zodiac show, that glam extravaganza Adam appeared in occasionally, pre-Idol.

Next, Adam tweets a directive to his fans– “Request ‘If I Had You’ at your favorite radio station now!!! Let’s blow this shit up!!!”

Erm. Aren’t you forgetting something, Adam?

Five hours later, he tweets,   “Request IF I HAD YOU w your fav radio station but remember: once a day! Don’t abuse the privledge! I love you all so much!”

Yeah…that! Very important, that…

Next? It’s on to Switzerland, and then back to the UK, where Adam is scheduled to appear on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.

UPDATE: Listen to the radio edit of “If I Had You” here (there are subtle changes to the bridge and guitar at the end):
