Adam Lambert covered George Michael’s iconic 1987 hit, “Faith,” on ABC’s Greatest Hits finale Thursday (8/4).

The American Idol singer performed the song live during the two-hour special which aired from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. “Faith” is the title track to Michael’s debut solo album of the same name.
The Greatest Hits live finale was the culmination of the six week series, hosted by Arsenio Hall and Kelsea Ballerini, that showcased musical eras from 1980-2005 in five year increments. Celine Dion, John Legend, Ariana Grande and more performed.
