Adam Lambert – For Your Entertainment – Remix Videos

Over the weekend y’all heard some excellent remixes of Adam Lambert’s single, “For Your Entertainment”. Now, Iliatbsny has posted re-cut versions of the FYE video on You Tube.

After the jump, check out the Bimbo Jones and Brad Walsh remixed videos.   I’m partial to the Bimbo Jones version myself, but the Brad Walsh remix ain’t bad and seems to be popular amongst fans.   You can listen to all 5 remixed FYE’s at DJ Tag’s blog.

Now, I wonder when RCA will release the newly shot “Whataya Want From Me” video?

  1. I must admit to being partial to the original song and video but like you MJ my two favorites of the remixes are the Bimbo Jones and Brad Walsh. They’re not half bad! Had me jigging in my seat :)

  2. This is a lovely padded room mj!

I like the Brad Walsh remix, although the vocals on both are a bit slowed down for my dancing feet.

  3. Brad Walsh’s remix is my fav. The re-cut of FYE MV is not bad either. Some clubs have large screens showing MV of the songs. I wonder if they will use the re-cut MV along with the re-mix, hehheh

  4. These remixes were great fun. Can someone enlighten me on how they work? Do they sell them on iTunes or are they only released to clubs? I am totally clueless on this. The first time I ever saw a remix was Adam’s ROF which totally blew my mind. If I could have bought it I would have, I love it.

  5. I’m confused–the little white printed labels on the videos themselves seem inconsistent with the video-titles and mj’s labels–which is which now? In any case, I like the second one better–the rhythm seems off on the first, somehow..

This is only tenuously related (sorry mj), but it is a new video made to an Adam song, so maybe it’s relevant?–maybe some of you have seen it.

    Down the Rabbit Hole

Ever since Adam quipped with Jim Cantiello about maybe contributing a bonus song to a soundtrack (they joked about suburban decay and twilight) I’ve been thinking that there could not be a better match than Down the Rabbit Hole and the new Tim Burton “Alice in Wonderland” movie with Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. Danny Elfmann is doing the score, but I know Burton’s including some slightly off-the-wall pop music in the soundtrack. I’ve been lurking less here of late–have there been any rumors swirling down this particular rabbit hole? I know this is rainbow unicorn territory, folks, but there was something somehow suggestive in Adam’s joking with Jimmy C. It’s always fun to speculate, right? Anyway, above fan vid suggests I’m not the only one who thinks this would be a beautiful match.

  6. midwifespal- ITA! I have been thinking the same since I heard the song! And Johnny Depp? Perfect! Someone should send this to Tim Burton peeps.

  7. The Alice in Wonderland could def. work- except for the “ho’s and gigolos” lyric… maybe they could edit it with a different lyric… lol, yeah right!
But the song is just fab! It grows on me from day to day…

  8. Don’t like either re-mix of FYE. To me, this song is just not re-mixable. It is so terrific in it’s original “organic” way. IMO.

I do like Down the Rabbit hole, though.

  9. Thanks midwifespal for the Rabbit Hole link. That was a great clip. Since I watched Adam’s live performance of this song on youtube….I can’t stop listening to it. I love the song now!!

And ya, Tim Burton needs to see this!

I don’t understand the whole Remix thing. They do it for the clubs? What’s wrong with the orginial version…seems very ‘shake your asses’ to me?

Whoa! Didn’t mean for my whole comment to be in bold print. Sorry!
