In a twitter party with fans last night, Adam Lambert addressed some of the rumors about the release date of his upcoming album. “I have had the most amazing time working on it!, ” Adam says about the album, ” I’ve learned so much about writing and about myself! Been obsessing for 5 months.”
A fan asked if the album would be coming out on November 4 (A date that’s been floating around the internet. EW has it listed for November TBA) and Adam replied that the date was just a “rumor” but he hopes “to have a single out by then.” He added that the album “…has to be perfect for all of you, so I’m taking my time.”
When asked about a more specific date for the single, Adam replied that it would probably be out in “8 weeks”. The album will contain “12 songs, and a deluxe version with more.”
“The album deals with the highs and the lows and the ins and the outs of my real life.” Adam explains. “The album will let you all in further than ever. Real shit. Real life. Not all the glossy facade…But part of my life is crazy, insane fun. Part of it can get dark. There are songs about both.”
A fan asked Adam to share a lyric, and he replied, “One day I was trippin, that’s when I could see, that the ether that I tapped into could be reality”
” The new album is sounding amaaaazing!” Adam tweeted, “I promise it’s worth the wait!!”
Correction: Adam did not answer any questions about whether he has picked out the first single.
