Adele returns after a 3 year hiatus with a new ballad, “Hello” off of her highly anticipated 3rd album, 25, due out November 20. The song was teased last week on ITV during the X Factor UK and now it’s out, in the form of a haunting new video.
The track was produced by Greg Kurstin (Sia, Kelly Clarkson, Beyonce) and recorded in Los Angeles. 25 is Adele’s first album in 4 years. Her last single was the titular “Skyfall” from the 2012 James Bond film.
In a twitter letter to fans, the singer wrote, “My last record was a break up record, and if I had to label this one, I would cal it a make up record.” She added, “I’m making up with myself…”
“I’m sorry it took so long,” Adele wrote, “But you know, life happened.”
