The final 2018 Grammy ratings are in. From TV By The Numbers:

The Grammys delivered a 5.9 rating among adults 18-49 and 19.81 million viewers. That’s down 24 percent in both adults 18-49 and viewers vs. last year’s awards. It’s the lowest 18-49 rating the Grammys have ever recorded and the least-watched ceremony since 2009.

In 2017, the Grammys garnered a 7.8 rating and 26.07M viewers. That’s a huge drop! There are those who will say the political tone recent awards shows have taken on have turned people off. But nevertheless, this year’s Grammys delivered some pretty great performances. Too bad more folks didn’t tune in.
