2015 TCA Awards Winners List

The Television Critics Association (TCA) honored the top programs and actors of the 2014-2015 television season Saturday night, at the 31st Annual TCA Awards presentation. The untelevised event was held at the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel, and hosted by James Corden (Late Late Show host.

The results were determined from votes cast by the TCA’s membership, comprised of more than 220 professional TV critics and journalists from the United States and Canada. That explains why the winners comprise shows like The Americans and The Chair–critics favs that don’t typically get their due at Emmy time.

Speaking of snubs: Empire received the Program of the Year award. Perhaps creator Lee Daniels feels at least a tiny bit vindicated after Emmy ignored his hit show.
