The 2015 American Music Awards will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 22 at 8:00pm ET on ABC.
The show, hosted by actress, singer and American Idol judge, Jennifer Lopez, will feature performances from today’s biggest artists and present fan-voted awards in the categories of Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Alternative Rock, Adult Contemporary, Latin, Contemporary Inspirational, Electronic Dance Music, as well as categories for New Artist of the Year Presented by Kohl’s, Collaboration of the Year Un-leashed by T-Mobile, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Top Soundtrack.

Recording artists Joe Jonas and Charlie Puth revealed six categories of nominees on ABC’s Good Morning America. Immediately following the broadcast, five additional categories were announced in real time via Snapchat. ABC News then livestreamed the remaining 12 categories and included a recap of all nominees in the 11 previously-announced categories.
Taylor Swift leads this year with six nominations. Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd tie with five nominations each, while Sam Hunt, Nicki Minaj, Sam Smith, Meghan Trainor and Walk the Moon earn three nominations each. Additionally, Jason Aldean, Chris Brown, Luke Bryan, Drake, Fetty Wap, Florida Georgia Line, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, One Direction, Charlie Puth, Rihanna, Mark Ronson and Wiz Khalifa each receive two nominations.
