Casey Abrams Raises Awareness About Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Casey Abrams‘ run on American Idol season 10 was nearly derailed when a flare-up of his Ulcerative Colitis sent him to the hospital. He missed a results show, a few functions and Ford commercials, but thankfully, after treatment (which included blood transfusions) he got things under control and was able to compete all the way to 6th place.

Now, Casey is set to launch a nationwide contest to raise awareness about inflammatory bowel disease. US citizens, age eighteen and older who are diagnosed with UC or Crohn’s disease, are encouraged to submit their story showcasing how they’ve been able to pursue their dreams despite their disease now through August 26, 2011 at www.IBDIcons.com.

Tim Urban Covers “Disturbia” – VIDEO

I’ve come to the conclusion the Season 9 alum, Tim Urban does not actually listen to the lyrics of the songs he sings. That would totally explain his bizarre cover of “Under My Thumb” during the competition, as well as this inexplicably jaunty rendition of Rihanna’s “Disturbia” Happy Happy Joy Joy!

The Glee Project – Tenacity – Videos and Live Blog

This week’s theme is “Tenacity” and to help the kids reveal what they are made of is Max Adler, who plays the closeted bully on Glee.

Max leads them through their homework, which is to perform the song “Bulletproof”. Halfway through, he asks them to stop. He wants them to try again, bringing something to the table that will surprise him. The kids try way too hard on the second go-around, and it’s kind of hilarious. Max thinks everyone did fantastic, but he chooses the beautiful red-headed Marissa to win the challenge–her second in a row.
