Correction: Rihanna won best Female R&B artist, not Jennifer Hudson. Sorry for the error
Apparently, there was a mix-up during the announcement of the Viewer’s Choice winner. Tiffany Greene first named Chris Brown as the winner, then switched to Drake and Rihanna. Drake accepted the trophy, but it was later confirmed that Brown did win.
It was one more award for Brown, who lead the wins with 4.
Special tributes included Steve Harvey as the Humanitarian Award Honoree and Patti LaBelle as the Life Achievement Award winner,
