Here are my (will prolly be wrong) predictions for the X Factor double elimination set for tonight.  If you aren’t in a turkey coma, join me as I blog the fun at 8/7c  ET!

Scratch that. If you are in a coma, that may be the best way to watch…

Actually, I’m pretty sure the top 3 is right, if not in the correct order. I think we are looking at the Top 3 for the rest of the competition. Carly had the best performance (not saying much), so she should come in first, but I would not be at all surprised if Tate takes the tops spot for a third week in a row. he’s got people, y’all.

My prediction is that Paige will be eliminated immediately, while CeCe and Arin battle it out with a last chance performance. Arin will sing better than CeCe, but the judges will save the latter because she’s good TV. And it will be tres dramatic, with Khloe screaming at CeCe HOW DOES THIS MAKE YOU FEEL HOW DOES THIS MAKE YOU FEEL.  Good times!

1. Carly Rose
2. Vino Alan
3.Tate Stevens
4. Diamond White
5. Emblem3
6. Fifth Harmony
7. Beatrice Miller
8. CeCe Frey
9. Arin Ray
10. Paige Thomas

As far as the blog poll, Carly Rose is running away with it at 41%.  Arin Ray is dead last with .59% of the vote.

That looks about right, although I hope 5H goes one point higher, surpassing E3. I think Arin is the one going home without a singoff. I truly hope we get a Paige and Cece showdown, as they’ll be trainwreck worthy fun. If ya can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.

  • Klaine

Carly is definitely the most talented.  Tate is the country one and we’ve seen from other shows that country fans are very loyal and vote..Despite Simon not liking Vino, I think hes a powerful singer who has something.  I just hope Emblem 3 is the middle again…Paige, CeCe, Arin have all been awful week to week so happy if any get eliminated, but especially Paige – for once, judges told the truth and gave her negative comments although sometimes that backfires and spurs people to vote.  CeCe & Arin have also been awful.  Ir eally dont like 2 double eliminations in a row.  Still waiting for Melanie, Josh, Drew, Astro etc release some albums and perform on the show…The shows $5 mil prize seems like a dud bu tnow theyre forced to do it every year…Poor Beatrice who seems like such a great girl and keeps falling toward the bottom (I doubt it but I hope its not homophobic people because she has 2 moms – it just shows that LGBT people make great parents and they even adopted 2)…Carly Rose (she should drop the last name) seems like the one who really would have potential to start young and have a long career)…But in todays music industry, singing talent seems irrelevant.  Chrisitina no doubt has one of the best voices, her new album seems to have a lot of good songs and yet it really didnt do that well (but I realize people dont buy CDs anymore so its tough) but yet people like Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and the list goes on become superstars without the talent thanks to Autotune and showing lots of skin

Agree with the ranking, save E3 above 5H and Beatrice. They haven’t approached their One day performance, and this may be their worse. Add to that their core fans have a good percentage of young college females, who were most likely traveling Wednesday, and you could see a mild shocker of them singing for survival.

  • WestiesRule

I’d say you are right with the top and bottom. When the talent pool thins the worse generally seem to go home (which we know is not the case this year with XFactor UK). Airn could possibly switch with Beatrice because someone is voting for him and I could have swore he was a goner a few weeks back.

As unlikely as it is, I hope Emblem 3 drops so people with much superior performances (5H, Beatrice) pass them

I believe that Arin sings terribly from the bottom of his heart. He’s putting his feelings and trying his best on his awful singing. But i don’t believe that Cece and Paige are that bad naturally. They must actresses that X-Factor hired (I wouldn’t doubt Simon would do it) and they are singing that bad on purpose. Something isn’t making sense.

Good for them if they are. They might end up earning more money than the frontrunners and the winner, which, from what we’ve heard, will never actually see the color of those 5 million bucks.

I just don’t want to see any horrible meltdowns onstage like last year with Rachel and Drew.

Today I just thought about this and you know….I am feeling, that the possible meltdown will not come from any of those kids but…from Demi! And it is actually on. Everybody liked her a lot before the live shows. Now she is in the circle of continuosly saying stupid and discouraging things to contestants, her group is going down, she has been accused of destroying her young people’s careers etc, people are saying they hate her and she takes all this very seriously.

I like her, and I hope I am wrong, but I am worried about her. To me it seems, that she will at least suffer from quite big depression after the show. And I think she is in the great stress right now.
Even though she would lose whatver badly in the competion, it is not worth the vicious circle she seems to be in right now, and I hope she will find her way out of that.

I think, that the predictions could be quite accurate. if there will be some differences in the actual results, they could be:
-that Emblem3 is shockingly more down, if not the 8th
-that Bea is surprisingly more up, America having heard her now for the first time for real, maybe even 4th

I think Arin be will gone first. I think it will be Paige/CeCe or Paige/Beatrice sing off.

  • fuzzywuzzy

“And it will be tres dramatic, with Khloe screaming at CeCe HOW DOES THIS MAKE YOU FEEL HOW DOES THIS MAKE YOU FEEL.  Good times!”

lol I don’t think that I’ve seen any TV host who is so unfeeling and aggressive in interrogating people who have just had their dream crushed.

I know that Dial Idol isn’t an exact science and is probably never totally accurate but when I looked at the DI stats from last week and the week before, two out of the four lowest ranked on DI went home last week. The week before, Jason Brock went home and he was ranked in the bottom 4 on DI. This week, it shows Fifth Harmony, Tate, Diamond, and Carly are in danger. So, if the same thing happens this week, I could definitely see a surprise elimination. If I’m not mistaken, I believe Beatrice, Carly, and Diamond have all been around the theater/show biz world for a while now and have competed against each other for different parts. What I’m wondering is could those three especially be vote splitting more than the rest of them?

It will come, sooner or later….the 2 divas on the floor screaming at each other about how unfair Life is!  I think they both have what it takes to do it justice!  Can’t wait! lol

  • girlygirltoo

I feel bad for Arin because he’s being handed songs he clearly does not want to sing. He appears to be an Usher-type performer — at least let the kid do an upbeat song that people can dance to.

Unfortunately, he will probably be going home this week, along with either Paige or CeCe.

  • fantoo1

Is it a possibility it will be a non elimination night because of Thanksgiving?

  • http://twitter.com/mwk89 Matthew Kitson

think you got it dead-on. I might flip fifth harmony and emblem 3

  • girlygirltoo

not unless they pull one of those annoying “whoops! just kidding” moves. They said on yesterday’s show 2 people would be eliminated tonight

Not maybe in the big audience show like this, but I think when Larry King was off, he was quite a nightmare in intimate interviews.

    Watch from YT:

Beatles Reunion – Larry King Live (part 4 complete)

The whole long interview is so insensitive, but I picked for you this part4, where he is with Paul and Ringo. They are giving great responses, though.

  • SapphireBlue9

Arin’s gotta bounce, sorry to say.

But it would be awesome if E3 is in the singoff and Demi (and one other judge) votes to send them home. She should say, “The act I vote to send home, Simon, Happy Thanksgiving, is E3″ with a smirk on her face  “And before you ask Khloe, I feel great, thanks!”   and then miraculously by America’s vote E3 gets sent home.

Probably not gonna happen but it would be great on many levels. None of them for Simon.

  • ticktock8

    Never bet against the WGWG.

  • fuzzywuzzy

“but I think when Larry King was off, he was quite a nightmare in intimate interviews.”

Even when Larry was “on”, he was a nightmare. lol He did absolutely no research on any of his guests and was proud of his ignorance. lol

  • fuzzywuzzy

    “Never bet against the WGWG.”

There are 2 of ‘em on the X-Factor – Tate and Vino.

I wonder if you know the saying:

He is speaking with that full confidence, that only the ultimate ignorance can give to a person.
