The Voice 8 Final 4 Power Rankings

The Voice 8 winner will be crowned on Tuesday! Tonight, the Final Four finalists take the stage for your votes. How would YOU rank the remaining contestants? This might be the easiest The Voice prediction I’ve made so far. Has the winner ever been so obvious from Day 1? The entire Final 4 seem easy to predict. But there are always surprises! You can never be too sure how America will swing.

Here’s my FINAL power list of the season! Christina Aguilera lost her last team member when India Carney left the competition last week. Pharrell Williams has two, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, one apiece.

1. Sawyer Fredericks – Team Pharrell – Young Sawyer  has dominated the competition all season. His performances regularly shoot up the iTunes chart as soon as the show is over on the East Coast. He’s the iTunes king. With the cumulative iTunes totals counting as finale votes, how can Sawyer lose? This reminds me of Season 3 when Cassadee Pope dominated. But I don’t remember her owning the entire season so handily. I hope the record label knows what to do with him when he’s handed over.
2. Meghan Linsey – Team Blake – Meghan has been coming on strong in the last few weeks of the competition. There were some bad song choices early on. The talk of turning Meghan into an R&B singer didn’t really pan out. As soon as Blake realized soulful, bluesy country tunes were her money, the singer’s fortunes, and downloads soared. I don’t know what will happen to Meghan when the competition is over. Hopefully, she gets picked up by a label, or figures out how to do the indie thing.
3. Joshua Davis – Team Adam – I’m not surprised that Joshua made it into the finals against better vocalists. If it weren’t for Sawyer, I would peg him for the win. He’s a throwback kinda guy. He sings with confidence and the has the ability to connect to the lyrics he’s singing. He’s just the kind of performer singing show fans love. The type that’s so popular, there is room for two in the Top 4.
4.Koryn Hawthorne – Team Pharrell – Koryn is a wonderful raw young talent, but at this point in the competition, she’s no match for the mature and self-assured singers she’s competing against. Her fearlessness when she hits the stage is the thing that’s carried her round after round, despite pitch problems.
