Stacy Keibler, Mario Lopez, Khloé Kardashian For X Factor Host?

…And the rumor mill churns on. Entertaiment Weekly wants to float a few rumors of their own. This post concerns X Factor hosts. Although the audition phase of the show is nearly through, Simon Cowell has yet to announce the show’s new hosts.

“I want to work with a boy and girl and I definitely think this is a role for two people,” Cowell recently told reporters. “[We] have narrowed it down to 5 people.”

Some names we’re hearing are under consideration: BET personality Rocsi Diaz, actor and America’s Best Dance Crew host Mario Lopez and actress/model Stacy Keibler. Add to that some names E! Online is hearing: Khloé Kardashian, Kelly Osbourne, BET’s 106 & Park host Terrence J, sportscaster Erin Andrews and radio personality Mike Catherwood.

Sources emphasize that prospective hosts are still being interviewed and actual testing for the gig is not expected for several more weeks. “They want to make sure the duo has chemistry,” one insider said.

So what do you think of that? NO KARDASHIANS PLEASE I BEG OF YOU. Other than that? I only care that the team Simon hires can keep the show moving without looking like a deer in the headlights. Some personality please, and an ability to connect to the contestants.   Mario Lopez is the only one on that list who might be able to do that…

    I think that Stacey Keibler would be really good in this part and I think that she could work well with Mario Lopez….  I wouldn’t mind seeing those two together.

    The host person should have a neutral personality to not distract from the real focus of the show, not add a bunch of drama themseves.

    Am I only one who is tired of Mario Lopez? I mean, he would get the job done but he kinda bores me.

    Any of them but the Kardashian is fine. If they put any of them on, they can count out this Neilsen home.

    Of that list, yes, heck no to any Kardashians or Osbournes, for that matter. I too am tired of Mario Lopez, don’t think Stacy whatsherface deserves the job, when famous for basically being George Clooney’s girlfriend and nothing more, and I’m unfamiliar with the people from BET. And I don’t know much about Mike Catherwood other than his brief stint on DWTS… maybe he would be ok but probably annoying.

    So, Simon, YOU MESSED UP BY FIRING STEVE!
