I think that the sellouts at Walmart.com have a lot more to do with how many copies of the cd Walmart was willing to commit to, and not a lot to do with heavy demand.

Well, RCA promo was thrilled to tweet that the CD sold out and was #1 in pop in 24 hours, at Walmart. Yet you managed to say it was not due to popularity or demand. That seems rather extreme. I mean – sources?

I don’t believe in exaggerating accomplishments but I don’t believe in minimizing them either. As a fan I enjoy celebrating them when they happen. Just sayin’.

I agree.  Realistically, I’d say the sellouts are because Walmart’s expectations were low, but if I go all Eeyore about it and focus on the low initial expectations, I’ll miss out on the fun of seeing Kris exceed those expectations by a mile.

Like the cover – sophisticated without being pretentious.

I am delighted to report that I grabbed the last copy of TVOL at Walmarts.  My
girlfriend made me go ask if they had any more, but the clerk said, “No, some
guy just bought 3 of them and there aren’t any more in back.”  The remix sounds great! The cd was in an end-cap for new releases. All the top releases were there and there were just 2 empty slots, the ones for Kris!

It does seem like the physical single is selling pretty well.  There were only 3 left at my Walmart when I got mine (and they were also in an end-cap split across two slots).  Plus, it’s sold out on walmart.com again.  I think that’s the 6th time it’s sold out now?

I got my Online TVOL from WM today. And I finally found one in store last Wednesday. I will start preordering the variety of the album tomorrow. I was waiting till April because my credit card will give back 5%. Heh.

So will Kris sing the line “and if your plane fell out of the sky, who would you call with your last goodbye” from LLWD in his concert on the airplane?? That could be awkward!

I’m totally fine with the album cover now. It has grown on me and now I think it’s pretty cool. And I still love the title, but Kris, tell us (eventually) what it means! Mysteries are meant to be solved (like what did the buck t-shirt mean??)! lol

Kris looks attractive and good in his outfit like a model.  The dog is unexpected but cute and amusing.  The cover gives off a vibe of an Indie artist to me though, which he’s not.  But same pose of him alone without the dog and a different background is what I see for mainstream pop-rock singer’s cover like him.  Anyway, I like his first CD and will check out the next.
