Re: AOL sessions, I love previous versions of Kris’ Oh Holy Night, so looking forward to that. RG isn’t my favorite on the album (a little too country for me), but knowing Kris’ penchant for changing up arrangements, I’m looking forward to hear the band’s take on it.

I’m going to be optimistic and say that Kris is reaching a point in his celebrity where TMZ wants to follow him. That’s not really a good thing, but at least he’s getting attention. All publicity is good publicity, right?

Those numbers for LLWD are impressive and very nice to see. I expect him to keep building on it. I LOVED seeing Kris as the headline in that USA today article. I felt like a proud auntie.

I have a feeling this song will be played leading up to and following New Year’s. It’s the perfect countdown and resolution song.

Maybe the really good numbers for LLWD will make American Idol seriously consider Let It Rain for their elimination song. It really is a pretty song that grows on you.

More shallowness from me, I’m totally looking forward to it! It will be cute and I love watching Kris and his band have fun (yes, I do it while ignoring the song) but it still a valid point.

Oh and I think this video shows, once again, what a great sense of humor Kris has. He so cracks my ish up. Love the Bieber bit, though still DWN that fetus with hair. WOW, I have to re-read that 3 times to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. It is so rare to read / see a positive review of Kris outside of Slezak and Jim C. And the many good comments below that article are wonderfull also. To read : Kris Allen, quiet dignity, experiencing an unfair backlash in the same sentence. I really hope that the media will just give him a fair review from now on and not always think of Kris in relation to that other guy.

Exactly. I still have 1 hour and 50 minutes to go and I have to go to work tomorrow. But, I’m determined to stay up late to see it live and not just from my DVR.

Hahaha Jim and Kris have such an awesome chemistry. I love how they just light up the room when they are talking. It really does come off like it’s a conversation between friends. Take away the MTV microphone and it’s like they’re just buddies talking about random stuff hahaha

The KRIM show is always the best. Seems like that Justin kiddo is not too bad (not in terms of his talent but being friendly with Kris). No wonder Kris was praising him during the Philly show, though I still dun really get that kiddo’s talent.

I remember someone has tried monitoring his single’s and album’s sales on another forum and found that his appearances on TV shows dun really have much impact on his sales, except for SYTYCD, which is a prime-time TV show and has millions of viewers watching. Otherwise, I guess these TV shows dun have much viewers in the first place, so they would not affect his sales much.
