Kelly Clarkson sang her favorite Kings of Leon song tonight (Aug 25) at the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA.  The pop queen has been choosing a different cover nightly, requested by fans in each city she visits on her North American tour.

“Cold Desert”, a beautiful rock ballad, is just the latest in a long line of awesome covers Kelly has performed in the last 9 months.  Maybe we can call Kells the coves queen now. I think so!

    This is one of my favorite KOL songs.  I wish Kelly could release more songs in this vein.  I would say write/record songs like this but I have a feeling she has, they just haven’t made it on any albums for whatever reasons.
