Kellie Pickler and Chris Daughtry Announce Tours

According to Ken Barnes from USA Today’s Idol Chatter  blog, Kellie Pickler will be touring with country music performer, Brad Paisley starting April 27.  There will be more information posted soon at Paisley’s website.

Chris Daughtry is slowly releasing dates for his upcoming tour.   More information can be found  on  the DAUGHTRY official  website.  Ãƒâ€š  DAUGHTRY is also  scheduled to play Orlando, FL Universal Studios  in April.

    Oops MJ…..I should have emailed you but I think the Tulsa and Boston dates have been pushed back but don’t have any definitive information. I’ve been soooo busy today that I forgot to let you know. :flush_tb:

    for New England folks, Pollstar has Paisley at Tweeter Center, Mansfield Mass on June 9, and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut on July 27.

    That is so amazingly great for Kellie! She will get some big-time exposure on this tour with Paisley.

    Wow, Brad Paisley is huge! What a coup for her. I heard her song “Red High Heels” the other day for the first time on the radio, and initially I didn’t know who was singing, and thought it was pretty good. I like her sound better on the CD than on the show.

    Chris is ALREADY going out on tour by himself? I don’t know if that’s such a smart idea…I think he should really start by doing what Kellie is doing and touring with some bigger star. But maybe that’s just me. Good luck to them both though.

    Why SHOULDN’T Chris and his band tour by themselves? The venues so far look like they are smaller sizes – House of Blues, the Viper Room, etc – like the ones Taylor is playing… by himself.

    I think DAUGHTRY realizes that they can’t sell out an arena yet, but I see no reason why they shouldn’t play the smaller venues. I’m already planning on going to Orlando, and if DAUGHTRY plays in Tampa or Sunrise, I’ll be there too. Hell, if they play in Jacksonville or Tallahassee or Miami on a weekend, I’d be there!
