    This is funny as heck.

Oh man that is so funny I love when these talk shows do spoofs of Idol. I still laugh over the David Cook and David Archuleta ones. I think Jimmy did those too. In one they questioned if Cook was really a rocker b/c he danced in group numbers and in another they were like oh you love Archuleta now but what happens when his voice starts to change and it cracks. Totally LOL, so funny.

I’m confused. How did Kimmel get that footage, from the show, the same night he filmed his own show? Kimmel is probably taped before the west coast showing of Idol?
    Anyway, very funny!

Buffynut, the Jimmy Kimmel show is taped starting at 7 p.m. Pacific. The East Coast Idol (live) feed ran from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Pacific last night, so the Gaga footage was available for his producers online, if nowhere else.

    that’s quite funny

    That’s hilarious.

I strongly suspect that AI sends out select PR footage to the various news/entertainment show outlets well in advance of the show airing live. This of course explains why all the major outlets will concentrate on specific contestants in their coverage post show.

The Gaga footage was done days ago. So was her ‘live performance’ which we’ll see tonight.

    Thanks, eilonwy! :)
I thought Kimmel filmed earlier, like around 5:00.

Dang, that’s funny. I had to watch it twice.
