Phillip Phillips tweets, “Just got through watching the music video for “Gone” & i hope yall like it. We achieved what we were aiming for!”

Jennifer Hudson and the Sandy Hook Elementary School chorus will sing “America The Beautiful” before the big Superbowl game between the Ravens and the 49s. Alicia Keys is set for the National Anthem and Beyonce the halftime show. The game begins at 6:30 ET on CBS.

If you aren’t a football fan you can check out the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet at 3 pm. PUPPIES YOU GUYS!

There is also a Dancing with the Stars Season 6 marathon begins at 5 pm ET on GSN. Random!

‘Skyfall,’ ‘Life of Pi,’ ‘Anna Karenina’ Triumph at Art Directors Guild Awards – “Life of Pi,” “Anna Karenina” and “Skyfall” won the film prizes at the 2013 Art Directors Guild Awards on Saturday during a ceremony at the Beverly Hilton. “Life of Pi” and “Anna Karenina” will both contend for Oscars later this month, along with three fellow nominees on Saturday night. Though up for five Oscars, “Skyfall” is not nominated in this category.     I thought that it was arranged kind of like a torch song, which I didn’t like for the NA. Great that she sang and played live though.

    I hate to say nothing could be worse, as what I’m watching now may be close. But yeah, it was gross, ugh.

    I sort of liked Alicia Keys’ version of the NA, it was kind of touching I thought.

    Not that crazy about Jennifer Hudson, it just seemed a little overdone for America the Beautiful. She looked pretty, though the hair distracted me wondering if it was a wig lol.

    It’s still selling well, but it has reached its peak in terms of it is sliding down all the charts now and isn’t selling as much as it had been.

    But that has nothing to do with the fact that the song is overexposed now (at least in my opinion)

    She was great, so much better than last years halftime show. I was hoping that the rest of Destiny Child would make a surprise appearance, it would have been fantastic to see them perform again.

    Very energetic performance by Beyonce!  I’ve never understand why a female performer has lots of female dancers surrounding her. It seems to distract from the headliner. I guess they feel like they have to fill the stage with bodies.

    One thing I find interesting about JHud.  Shes obviously talented and soared above every other Idol into stratosphere with her Oscar performance.  She has an amazing voice that she uses for special occasions like the Grammy Whitney Performance, Super Bowls, national anthems, inaugurations, awards shows…but has she really had any hit records?  I remember her first gsingle and I think shes won and R&B grammy or two…but she doesnt have hit singles or albums that reach mainstream success.  It is intersting as Ive looked at stats however that 3/4idols have performed at super bowls – clarkson, underwood, hudson. (i think sparks too)..its also intertsing that as much as poeple complain about the white guys – the most successful idols have all been the femalse.  Yes clay was big in his time and I guess adam lambert has potential to last

    The song has peaked, but the fact that it is still selling so well shows that people still love it, and that new people are still discovering it.

    I always fel a sense of happiness when an Idol does well or better yet – great in their performance!

    Jennifer has had very very successful singles on the Urban AC chart.  Virtually everything she has released has done very well there.  I guess it is true that she hasn’t had any songs crossover to the pop charts or chart high on the hot 100.  But I don’t think that either she or her label are going for that. That isn’t the type of artist she is.  There are many paths to a successful career.  A mainstream hit is only one of them.
