FOX ‘American Idol’ producer Nigel Lythgoe says he will make push to have auditions in Detroit this year – Nigel Lythgoe, executive producer of FOX’s “American Idol,” told WJBK-TV (FOX 2) on Tuesday morning that he’ll make a push to get that show in Detroit sometime in 2013. “I’ll make you a promise that I’ll do my best to talk everybody into coming back here with ‘Idol’ for auditions this year,” said Lythgoe, who mentioned he’s a close friend of Motown Records founder and Detroit native Berry Gordy. Man Arrested For Crashing Adele’s Grammy Win – On Sunday night, one man attempted to ruin Adele’s Grammy win by bogarting her acceptance speech, but Jennifer Lopez wasn’t going to let that happen. Does this awards-show crasher look familiar? His name is Vitalli Sediuk and he also made headlines when he attempted to kiss Will Smith at a Men In Black 3 premiere in Moscow, Russia. The Ukrainian TV host managed to make it all the way to the Grammy stage and even said a few words before J.Lo took action.Man Arrested For Crashing Adele’s Grammy Win – Needless to say Sediuk was ushered off by Grammy security and spent a night in jail, multiple news outlets are reporting. He has since been released and faces a court hearing on March 4 for trespassing charges.
