Joshua Ledet to perform for Louisiana – SULPHUR, La. (AP) — “American Idol” finalist Joshua Ledet (luh-DET) is performing for his home state at a free, picnic-style concert in Sulphur, roughly eight miles east of his hometown of Westlake. Ledet finished in third place on the Fox reality TV singing competition in which fans across America vote for their favorite performers. Phillip Phillips, a guitar-wielding crooner from Leesburg, Ga., won the competition last month. But towns across southwest Louisiana championed Ledet. Mayor Chris Duncan says town officials have been working for days to organize the concert picnic, which is set for Saturday at 2 p.m. in Heritage Square. – Read more at WWLTV.com

Adam Lambert Talks About Demi And Britney on The X Factor – Adam Lambert is no stranger to reality singing shows so we asked the singer to weigh in on other competitive shows like The Voice and X Factor. He’s super stoked that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato are new judges on X Factor. “It’s going to be cool for people to get to know Britney again,” Adam says. Adam Lambert: Au Revoir, Montreal! – Adam Lambert keeps it super chic as he gets ready for a public appearance on Friday (June 1) in Montreal, Canada. The 30-year-old singer was in town to promote his recently released album, Trespassing. Before moving on from Montreal, Adam tweeted a goodbye message: “Au revoir Montreal! Casey James: No Amount of Alcohol Can Make Me Sing Karaoke – We had a chance to chat with Casey James backstage before the show got started at Taste of Country 2012. Casey talked about his “American Idol” experience, recording an album his way and how no amount of alcohol could ever make him sing karaoke.
WYRK’s Wendy Lynn asked Casey about “American Idol,” and told him she was rooting for him to go all the way. “It’s a good thing I didn’t,” Casey said. “It gave me a chance to focus on the album and record it my way.”

Celine Dion, Lionel Richie Perform at Walmart Shareholders Meeting – Looks like Celine Dion’s recent voice problems, which caused her to cancel a slew of Las Vegas concerts earlier this year, are cleared up. Dion was the closing act at the annual Walmart shareholders meeting in Arkansas on Friday, and brought down the house with her songs “The Power of Love,” “Love Can Move Mountains” and “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.” For “Love Can Move Mountains,” she was joined by two choral groups: The Arkansas Gospel Mass Choir and the Walmart Associate Choir. – Read more at ABC News
