Glee Season 6 Songs Episode 5 – The Hurt Locker Part 2

The Invitational continues on this week’s Glee. “The Hurt Locker Part 2” picks up where we left off last week. Sue Sylvester takes DRASTIC measures to bring Blaine and Kurt back together. The result forces the the former lovers to confront issues in their relationship. So Sue continues, to be a psycho, but the results of her manipulations aren’t terrible! Speaking of which, while sue tries to mend Klaine, she’s still trying to destroy Rachel Berry. Sam is still under Sue’s hypnotic thumb and more wacky antics ensue.

In order to beef up their numbers, Rachel and Sam recruit Kitty and Spencer to the Glee club, respectively. Rachel pulls a “Mr. Schue” to get Kitty to join. Heh. It’s tough going, but the rag tag New Directions finally perform on the auditorium stage for the very first time.

My Sharona by The Knack sung by the Warblers – I wonder if they’ll sing the dirty parts on camera. Not loving the Warblers as much since Season 2 songs arranged by the Tufts Beelzebubs, but The Warblers are always fun. Now I seriously want to pull out my old The Knack album.

You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) By Dead or Alive – Sung by The Warblers . I might like this better if Sebastian Smythe was singing. It needs to be dirtier.

It Must Have Been Love by Roxette – Sung By Kitty and Spencer and New Directions

Father Figure by George Michael – Sung by Roderick and New Directions – Ahhh! One of George Michael’s best songs, creepy lyrics notwithstanding. I love Noah Guthrie’s voice.

All Out of Love by Air Supply – Sung by Mason and Madison and New Directions – I regularly mocked Air Supply back in the day. I’m not feeling the song. Nevertheless, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Billy Lewis Jr.’s voice. All the newbies are great vocal additions to the show.
