DWTS Celebrates 10 Years April 28 – But Without Injured Derek Hough

Next Tuesday, April 28, Dancing with the Stars will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special show. The original air date was listed at Futon Critic as Thursday May 10. The special will feature many former winners, including Glee star, Amber Riley, who will be singing “Lady Marmalade” with Patti Labelle and Lil’ Kim!

The special is taping tonight, April 21, which means, unfortunately, that Derek Hough will not participate as planned! He was hurt during last night’s dance. He spent all of last night in the emergency room with Mark Ballas and his father Corky, by his side, according to Entertainment Tonight.  USMagazine reports that Sasha Farber will take his place.

Derek was supposed to team up with Maria Menounos and some of his other former partners. Get well soon, Derek! Check out the details of the special below.
