.It turned out kind of funny/dorky but then I was more fascinated by the technology behind the hologram for CNN.Folks not to burst the bubble but not as add lib they probably have set parameters for what he has to do.

Warning being dorky can be good or bad depending on individual or prespective. IMO I like it .

I’m guessing that David will pop in now and then on BWE. It’s great for both the show and for David. I’d think he really enjoys getting to spoof on his image and get a chance to let his gooberness run wild.

Actually, I’m going to suspect that close to 100% of the reason that they brought DC on board for this was the “hombre solutions” skit that he did for Best Week Ever. [Maybe a small percent of it was the sizzler bit that he did in the same episode.] Think about it—a current musician pushing a new album who also happens to have been the American Idol winner who also happens to have a great sense of humor about himself and some acting chops.

Now I’m getting really excited about the show itself. Hopefully this isn’t false advertising and he will be on it. That poll on their site does increase the probabilty, I guess.

OMG I loved that! The fact that he doesn’t take himself too seriously is what I personally find most endearing about DC.

He’s really cute, lol, and he’s game for about anything! And the best part, is that he does these little extra things so well! On a serious note, I’d love to see him acting in a serious role. I’ve always had the feeling he could do justice to a meaty role in something.

(I’ve had that feeling about Taylor too, with the right serious role.)

Cook is multitalented for sure.

I actually think that Cook has the potential to be a great SNL host one of these days. Add Archie as the musical guest – allowing for some David-David comedy – and you’d have a show full of win. (The AI spoof alone could be priceless.)

I think he said not a long ago that he had been reading scripts. But he wouldn’t get into anything… for now. So maybe in the future that is a possibility.

I think a good start would be letting him act in one of his own music videos. My dream scenario is that Lie becomes the 2nd or 3rd single and gets a video with David playing the lead. I would just love to see that.

I really think he has some acting chops, based mainly on the Ford commercials and some BTS clips from Idol, and the BWE skit. Also, he did get a theater scholarship once upon a time…

David Cook is the perfect enigma. I think that’s what is so appealing about him (other than his amazing voice) to me. He doesn’t try to portray himself as anything other than who he is. He’s honest and truthful. He both a hawt rockstar and a geek from Kansas City. He’s unapologetic about himself and I love him for it.

He’s a funny, down-to-earth guy, which, of course, is what makes him so gosh darn endearing…

I would love to see David Cook do a video of Barbasol, and add some humor to it since he so good at it. Barbasol really is a very funny song, and I could see David hamming it up. I think it would make for a very hot video, too. I want to see more more more of David performing and acting. I wonder what kind of scripts he was reading for? A David Cook hologram, are you kidding me? They couldn’t keep them stocked in the stores!!! I wonder if he read all of those women’s magazines and conjured himself up an image of what every woman wants in a man.

I would also love to see David Cook in a serious role, as well. I think he probably could pull it off. He is SO good at comedy, though. I’ve had many ideas for SNL skits, I’d love to see David Cook in a cougar skit, you know what I mean? Come on, let us watch him blush! I think I would melt all over the floor if he did this. And I’d love to see the Davids get into a “fake” fight, too. I bet they would do it since they are such great bro’s.
