Ha ha! The shaving comments were pretty funny. And sweet David always says nice things about Cook. (And vice versa.)

don’t see any nervousness from David anymore on this one.. looking way better than the leather jacket. Best performance and best looking so far..haa.a.

This was a nice style on him. I even liked the scarf. They must be getting him into his “fall look” for parades, etc. Liked seeing him next to Regis who is quite short, made David look taller than usual, lol, and yes, Archie did seem more relaxed today.

I find it amusing that, for an audience of mostly teenagers at TRL he is dressed in a tie and a less-than-cool shirt. For show that caters to more mature women ( in the TV audience if not the one in the studio for Archie) he wears a T-Shirt. I like the more casual look myself, but it seems that the styles should have been reversed somehow.
He did seem more relaxed on Regis and he is doing much better with the breath control while singing. Good job.

Nice job David! Very well done. The soft skin and shaving comments from Regis were awkward for me. But David handled that moment quite well. Regis is getting pretty creepy. Earlier in the show, he asked Kelly if she has been getting a rash from her bra. He even asks her, “Can we see it?” Then later in the show he asked the James Bond guy if he was wearing cologne. LOL! Oh my gosh!

Thank you so much MJ for this video. This is the BEST Crush performance by far. I didn’t hear any problems and he looked really relaxed. Now that is how you perform Crush, you got it David. He must of been watching tapes of the other performances. He didn’t have any problems and the band sound great with him today and I love David’s outfit. Now next time he does need to introduce the band to us.

I think he was just cold….looked like he kept rubbing his hands to warm up and then even folded his arms. They probably keep those studios cool because of the lights….he even mentioned that at the “Leno” performance, it was cold.

What did he say about Cook?

He said it was an honor to come in 2nd to DAvid Cook on Idol because Cook was an awesome guy.

Each time he performs it live he gets better. He looks like he’s really enjoying this performance, happy and relaxed, confident, looking great. What a guy.

JNM- It is funny how some interviewers can make him so at ease and he has fantastic interviews and others make him not do as well. Funny thing is that his fans love him just the way he is. I am sure in time, he will be more comfortable in every interview.

Regis is…kinda creepy here. The shaving question came out of nowhere and David looked a bit taken aback. He was still cute about it.

I love how comfortable David is getting with the song. He’s sounding better and better with each performance and I love how well he’s getting along with his band. They seem to really like Archie. The keyboardist in the background was obviously getting a kick out of the interview. LOL

And truthfully, I could care less if David is uber-articulate. He’s refreshingly candid and honest. The natural dorkiness is quite endearing to me. I often wind up with a big old grin on my face just watching him. I haven’t quite figured out why, but it always happens. Perhaps the happiness is contagious.

David sounded fantastic in this performance! He sure is getting more and more comfortable performing this. And yes, the shaving comment was sooo awkward. I felt weird just watching him answer Regis.

This is my favorite outfit he has worn in a long time!! hehe!!

Oh I thought it was a Paramore shirt…regardless, its just really so “David” to do these kinds of things randomly……….yea who cannot like this boy!. Im a proud fan (not teen, for those nit picking…lol)
