That’s a pretty picture of Brooke. I love her voice too.

Oh this is just getting extreme now. All of the AI kids are pandering to my Christmas music addiction. Archie, Ruben, and now even my beloved Brooke! So, let’s see, what am I going to add to this year’s Holiday playlist? I’m thinking Blue Christmas – I like that song.

Oh, no! You don’t have *Elliott’s*?? lol

(a basically secular Christmas album, obviously…. Great blue-eyed soul, however. I play it in July ….)

Of course I do! I was only counting the recent ones :) My iPod Christmas playlist has about 200 songs on it, from a large variety of artists. Then, there’s the physical cd holiday collection. I have a seriously bad addiction LOL.

LOL> I have it, too! I listen to them all year. I have lots of Idol Christmas — and am about to pick up some Archie and Brooke! — and I’m especially a sucker for all those cheapie compilations people have been putting out on cd in recent years of classic Christmas music from decades past with Stan Kenton and Rosemary Clooney and “Zat You, Santy Clause?” … etc. …

    It’s a great addiction!

LOL! In that case, maybe you’ll be interested in Archie’s new iPod app. It’s called “David Archuleta Open Mic – Christmas from the Heart.” I think it’s like a karaoke game. It rates how well you sing Christmas songs. It includes a video of Archie giving singing tips.

I’ve always wanted an iPod so I’m getting myself an iPod Touch for Christmas. I have way too many songs (and Archie interviews) that it’s just not feasible any more to work with my old cheapo mp3 player. I’ll definitely be getting the app along with Brooke’s Christmas EP.

Oh, no. Now I’m going to have to own this, too. …

Also — interesting how they’re marketing Archie here, too. The idea of marketing singers as wide-ranging product sellers rather than just trying to sell music alone is really getting some traction, it appears.

In addition to telling everyone what crappy singers they are, Archie’s app can also turn your iPhone into a snowglobe. I’m not telling you how I know this though :)

I was pretty hard on David during Season 7. So, those who were around these parts back then, should be thoroughly amused at the fact that I now own Christmas Music by David Archuleta LOL.

I do not, under any circumstance, buy Christmas music. It’s just not who I am. A moral thing. I don’t play it, except for at perhaps the day itself, and even then I have to find someone else’s disk. Playing it generally during the months proceeding Christmas and the months thereafter? Ridiculous!

Except… now I own Brooke’s Holiday EP. Eeep!

*sheepishly plays it in the car on the way to school*

Well I guess I have to download this. I own everything else she’s ever done, why stop now. :)
