He hugged Archie for a long time instead of bending on one knee. Archie hugged him back and then kept lifting his hands up while David was wrapped around him with a “what?” kind of motion. MJ hugged Cook after he climbed the stairs. Also, during Cook’s set, beach balls were being tossed around for some stupid reason and he asked someone to toss it up to him. And then he dropped it and kicked it. It basically went straight up and then down in the first few rows. He then made fun of himself by using his fingers as if they were his legs, did the kicking motion with them and then lifted his arm and made it go down in a straight line.

I hope that there are a lot of videos out of this one. The recaps of DC’s set are quite something.

Count me in as another one who is impatiently waiting for a DC solo tour. I hope, hope he plays somewhere (anywhere) near me. I’m so glad peeps out there are taping his banter. He’s so good onstage.

Nah, that wouldn’t have happened. You can’t see it, but he’s behind a heavy metal barrier. And I have no doubt there are security guards crouched there right beside him (I remember during the season 5 tour, Idols would come down off the stage to shake hands with fans…as they walked along the barrier there were security guards following, crouched where the fans couldn’t seem them–unless you were in the front rows) Also the head security guy, Ray, is always standing right there watching. When the Idols travel over to the edges of the stage to shake hands with fans, Ray is right there, following along, his eyes peeled on the audience. There’s plenty of Idol security, dressed in black, all around the stage. They are very discreet.
