The American Idol tour is once again heading to the Philippine, according to the site PhilippinesConcerts.com. The concert is scheduled for September 21 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Manila.
The Season 10 Top 11 performed two concerts in the Southeast Asian country last year. Surely the popularity of Filipino-American, Jessica Sanchez, figured in the decision of the concert promoters to invite Idol back.
Last year, the big draw was Thia Megia, who placed 11th, so the fan excitement must be exponentially greater for Jessica to perform live on stage.
If anybody is wondering if Jessica will be given a special spotlight in the show–the concert was brought to the Philippines intact last year. Thia didn’t get an extra song or a moment. But, you never know.
