American Idol: David Cook Set to Perform On Season 11

Good news David Cook fans! The Season 7 winner will be returning to American  Idol to perform sometime in May.  It will be the 4th year in a row David will take to the Idol stage after embarking on his post-Idol career.

As for what David might play–it could be a brand NEW song an insider has revealed to THR.  David has been tweeting recently about songwriting sessions. No doubt he’s got something up his sleeve.  (The Hollywood Reporter)

Haley Reinhart – March 22
James Durbin – April 12

     First, This Loud Morning is still fairly “new” (plus he’s possibly singing something just recently written) and second, selling 100,000 copies of an album is far from “bombing” out of the gate, esp. in today’s music industry.
