The American Idol 12 judges round auditions took place at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, IL on Tuesday and Wednesday. And I have a few spoilers for you!

So far, the contestants who have gone through to Hollywood are:
Baylee Goley
Brianna Marie Bell
Gabe Brown
Jay McNeil
Kiara Lanier
Schyler Dixon
It was reported that Johnny Keyser, Shelby Tweten and Richie Law from Season 11 auditioned for the judges in Chicago, but it’s not clear if they advanced to Hollywood or not. Colton Dixon’s sister, Schyler Dixon, is reported to have advanced to the next round.
On day two (today) 39 contestants auditioned with 25-30 receiving golden tickets to Hollywood!! WOW .
The judges are headed to Charlotte, NC North Carolina next! The producer round will be on Friday and Saturday with the judges round taking place the following Tuesday and Wednesday.
A report from the Chicago Tribune:
“I literally was in tears today,” said Carey, sitting alongside long time host Ryan Seacrest and fellow judges Urban, rapper Nicki Minaj and record producer and “Idol” original Randy Jackson.
“The stories are beyond belief. And they can sing too. It wasn’t the norm, I’d imagine.”
