X Factor Australia hit Sydney yesterday for the FIRST day of auditions. Judges Adam Lambert, Iggy Azalea and Guy Sebastian were on hand and ready to go, along with host Jason Dundas.
When it was announced last week that Adam would be joining the panel, he said, “I am very excited to join X Factor in Australia and am looking forward to helping people shine their brightest>’
“Australia has always been one of my favourite places to tour.,” The American Idol singer added, “The Aussies I’ve met are so kind and good humored — so the thought of getting to live in Sydney is very exciting.”
Iggy Azalea told the Daily Telegraph: “Probably all the judges are competitive because you have to be very competitive to be successful,” the rapper added, “I really want to be able to pick unique people and hopefully have them connect with everybody watching and I hope that I can win by a landslide.”
Auditions will be filmed over the next week, while the judges will return for a run of live shows in November.
