Music crtics and famous personalities have been impressed by his incredible talent claiming that he is the next big star in the offing. I heart them both so much. They are everything that’s good about people and friendship. Adam is so sweet and loving and supportive and Kris is the same, and totally not freaked out by being hugged and kissed by his gay friend. Not worried about “gay cooties.” They are both completely secure in who they are, as artists and human beings. Wow, is it possible this cheesy show is restoring my faith in humanity?

Okay hearing Paula spew the Rock God crap at Adam again really made me a little sick. They are cute though, aren’t they? Kris and Adam I mean. I love the friendship between opposites. Very cool. Adam kissed him on the ear/cheek. Too funny. He seemed completely unconcerned.

Big dittos to all the comments above. It’s great to see people acting like adults. And bravo to the attitude that it”s about the performing not the competing at this point, like the Davids last year.

Just one comment – If Kris has done all that traveling outside the U.S., I’m not surprised he’s shown a little maturity. Getting outside your own culture will do that for you, whether you’re on a mission trip on not. I haven’t read details on his, but many of these trips actually help people.

That’s not true. I’m pretty sure Ryan made it clear in that interview he does NOT know the results yet. AND he’s said in the past he makes sure he does NOT know the results before he does his radio show for fear of letting it slip.

He doesn’t find out until he shows up for work at Idol.

Paula’s one hand was down by Adam’s waist and the other is behind kris’s head. Adam kisses Kris by his ear- very sweet.

Ryan interviewed the guys before voting was complete. So if he knew the result he has super powers OR the whole thing is fixed. I doubt either is true.

I remain convinced that they play with the results to boost ratings — like putting Adam in the Bottom 2 on Top 5 week — but I don’t think they play with the final winner. If they did pick the winner they wanted, why didn’t they pick Clay? He was more commercial, had the biggest fanbase, and they took enormous heat for the phone line capacity fiasco.

Almost everything points to a really close finish — maybe a 1% spread. So I’m hoping for a tie. Kradam FTW.

I loved when Adam said he thought What’s Going On was gorgeous, and Kris said “Thanks, I appreciate that.” Also, I liked when Kris caught himself saying What’s Going On and they had a laugh.

Currently watching the video. LOL. Umm, did Kris just call Adam… sweetie? It sounded like after Paula gave him the kiss, he said “Thank you Paula” then after Adam, he said “Thank you sweetie”. Umm….. lol. Katy needs to watch out!

Warner Bros. references are always relevant! I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who appreciated it. I threw out a quote from “What’s Opera Doc” (Bwunhilda, you’re so Wuv-wy…) the other day, and no-one took notice. I am a nerd.

I like how they both appreciate each other, and I love Kris’s thing about “competing with ourselves.” I never really thought about it that way, but it seems kinda true that they’d be competing more with themselves than with each other. Good insight, Kris. But I still swear I just heard him call Adam “sweetie” or something .

One of my favourite bands is Australian, all testosterone and overtly heterosexual but they were often hugging and kissing each other and even the odd kiss, on stage, though usually full on the lips is someone playing a prank on the receiver – we call it manlove rather than bromance and we think it is hot, they never over did it, just enough to keep it hot.

I just can’t get enough of the interviews between the two. They are so fun to watch. I love the fact that I like both of them. I’m sad that tonight is the last night. I just hope they both do all the interview stuff like Jay Leno etc. They usually only have the winner but it would be nice to have them both especially if Kris wins. I think he looks to Adam for help with the interview questions. I can’t count how many times I have heard him say I feel the same way and totally meaning he agrees with Adam.

Kris really does need to practice giving interviews. He and Adam both are going to be stars!!! I can’t wait for the tour to start.

Also, peeps, if you are at all drawn to Kris’s music, I urge you to take a look/listen at the video of “What’s Going On?” again. He actually sounds really wonderful, much better than I thought yesterday.

Which is a big aha! insight for me today: I think Kris will be the kind of artist whose music evolves for you, each time you hear it. This has happened to me several times with his numbers this season, and which the TV audience (and even Simon) experienced last night with “Ain’t No Sunshine.”

What probably didn’t help him, though, was no intro to the song. He just launched right into it , and it probably would have added a smidge of drama if he’d built up to it with a few bars of strum and drum.

So true. This was just pure joyful affection between Paula, Adam and Kris; nothing else should be read into it.

I used to live and work in San Francisco 20 years ago. My industry included alot of “gay” men and women. I shared an office with a gay woman and we had the best working relationship. She was very funny and had me in hysterics laughing most of the day. Her partner would stop by and we’d often all go out to dinner together.

There’s way too much emphasis and speculation on people’s sexuality/choices in the media.

I agree with shadow-rider, I put it on full screen and it looks to me as if Adam was kissing Paula’s hand that was behind Kris’ ear. Since they were greeting Paula that makes sense. I don’t think he would kiss Kris on the back of the head, it would be kind of condescending for a taller adult to do that to a shorter adult in most circumstances I think – nothing to do with affection/preference/what have you, just to do with Adam’s demonstrated social facility.

Yep, he was kissing Paula. It fits the context and how her arm was draped over Kris. Also, Kris would have reacted if Adam had planted one on him. Couldn’t help but react.

I really have come to admire Paula this season because of all the love and support she has given the contestants, especially Adam throughout the season and now Kris, when I think he needs the support to handle this winning thing since he seems to give off the feeling that he really doesn’t deserve it. Adam has shown him a lot of support and I think tried to make him feel deserving of it. Adam is so full of love for others, I admire his character so much. Paula gets a bad rap with the precieved medication or alcohol thing, I love her, too…… OMG….. Adam is changing my life.

I watched it every way I could. Paula’s right hand is on Kris’ right side of his face, her left hand is around Adam’s back. There is no way Adam is kissing her hand. If you watch closely, you see Kris’ head move slightly to his left as Adam would have made contact, so it looks like his head moves under the pressure of the contact. I think Adam moved in so Paula could kiss his cheek and accidently made contact with Kris. But that’s my two cents which is worth about that.

I mean Paula’s arm was over his left shoulder…sorry.
