im working on it as well. he is and will always be my favorite. i have never been more invested in a contestant as i was with him. i think he is just that special. if he isnt signed, that would be the most ridiciulous thing i ever heard, but stranger things have happened. i mean, he didnt win AI.

There is no question he will be signed. The question is who wouldn’t sign him? You would be insane not to. He is going to have so many people begging to work with him he’s not going to know where to begin. I have this mixed emotion because I really wanted him to win. I feel like if there was an Idol competition over all eight seasons he was the best, hands down. However as someone else said he is TOO GOOD for AI. I’m glad he doesn’t have to release that shitty song and I think he genuinely is happy for Kris. Class act. Amazing. I don’t think I can ever watch this show again because I will always compare everyone to Adam and I don’t think anyone will ever bring the same level of excitement to the show that he brought this year. He made me spend too much damn time obsessing, now I can get back to my normal life!

Oh thank you so much for posting this. I was anxious to see how he was doing after the show. When he first came out, he looked a little sad, but he hid it so well as time went on and it was great to see how much his fans’ appreciation meant to him. And even more awesome to see both sets of parents together. Not just their sons made friends, but the parents too. How sweet.

I can’t wait to see what Adam does in the future. I’d love if he sang with Queen once or twice, but would also love to see him do his own stuff too.

Me neither. I still want to wallow in my misery. When I woke up this morning, the first thing I thought of was “OMG, was it really true that Adam lost last night?” Still can’t believe it. I have never been so shocked with an outcome from idol. I am going to be bitter all day today. Maybe I will work on acceptance tomorrow, or maybe the next day, or the next…..

Adam is a class act and no mistake.

I’m not into making predictions – I’ll leave that to the dreamers and crystal ball owners – but with his talent, passion and all around fabulousness I can’t imagine he’ll be wanting for work in the near future, or ever again!

What a great interview. I just love Adam. He is so talented and gracious! One class act. My eight year old cried last night and said she would never love another AI contestant again. Too painful! I think Adam stole the show last night. He was the star of the finale. Watching his fabulous performances I had a glimmer of hope that he would win. But I knew there was a lot of Kris momentum out there. I love Adam and I can’t wait to see what magic he will bring all of his fans in the future. Good luck Adam. Thanks mj for posting this. All I can say is I can’t wait to see him and lil sis Allison in concert (got my tix already!). Then the new stuff he’ll put out! I am thankful he doesn’t have to sing that schlock “No Boundaries”, and he still has the top downloads of all the AI contestants, so in my book, that is more of a win than winning AI.

I’m not bothered by the fact he didn’t win. He made it to the Top 2 and he’s got a great career ahead of him, so it’s alright with me! And, if he had to lose, at least it was to Kris, who is also awesome

Love him. Love his studio of A Change Is Gonna Come. It’s beautiful. Listening to it is bittersweet for me at this point though.

And, I’m such a sap I also bought his studio of No Boundaries. I know, I know, but he sounds great, even though bandzilla and backup are ever present of course. That one’s pretty sad to hear him sing too. Cuz, ya know, apparently there are boundaries for my boy.

He’ll break them and bring that change about, I was just hoping for more last night…

But kudos to Kris, total class act and top rate talent too. And yes, thankfully, Kris was on stage with Adam at the end and not someone else.

I am thrilled that he doesn’t have to sing Karappy’s No Boundaries every day for the next nine months.
I am hoping that he won’t be quite as closely held under 19M’s behavioral microscope as the winner might be.
I am hoping that he will be more free to express himself musically and stylistically than he might have been as the winner.
I am hoping that he gets great producers and co-writers to work with.
I am hoping that the Sarver/Gokey contingent will enable a smooth tour bus experience.
I am hoping he gets some cool designer endorsement opportunities.
I am hoping he will be the first male featured in a makeup ad campaign.

I am hoping every one of his dreams are realized without too much more struggle.
I am hoping he finds a deep and abiding love in his life.

I really do like Kris, but I still feel like Adam was cheated out of the prize he rightfully earned. But I’m trying to believe not winning will be better for him in the long-term. And I hope he knows how many people love and support him and can’t wait for what he’ll do next!

It’s been some consulation to hear radio morning jockeys praising Adam this morning and how he stole the Tuesday and Wednesday shows. But of course, they probably didn’t vote. I enjoy reading/watching people in the music industry praising Adam (over Kris & Danny) like Fergie & BEP, Queen, David Foster… Gosh – I’m drawing a blank (I’m tired), but he has an impressive list of supporters.

I’m soooo disappointed that the majority of America didn’t vote for Adam. I think part of the problem is that in other parts of the country like Arkansas, there’s not a whole lot going on, and community ethic is a bigger deal there. In California, it’s a different lifestyle, and “everyone” is moving too fast to worry about the community.

It pains me to read about Danny’s pastor begging for votes and making it about religion which is part of the reason why Kris won. I’m just glad that Kris won instead of Danny. If Danny was in the F2 and had won instead of Adam, I wouldn’t be sad for Adam and his fanbase, like I am now, I would be so angry!!

I had read this “Immediately after the Show Press” Interview, but watching Adam talking about everything and answering the “you lost because you’re gay” question was all kinds of awesome.

I love how he handles the press and makes it all about the music and the bond that he and Kris share. (PS: Adam, you look killer in that Cavalli jacket. Most handsomest Idol ever!)

It would NOT have been this way if Gokey was on the Final 2. Even the morning DJs were saying that Lionel Ritchie was getting annoyed with Gokey when he tried to take over the duet. Although, I will admit to liking the way Gokey’s voice sounds a little bit.

This video really made me feel better. Adam is way better than the Show.

He has to touch up his hair every two weeks because the blond hair grows in very fast.

Dadam thinks Adam’s cooler now even though they’ve always been really supportative. Dadam had to help out with paying his (Adam’s) bills when he was in his low to mid 20′s when he didn’t have enough money. Adam is happy that he able to pay them back and hopefully now be “safe” (monetary wise).

I read somewhere that Adam was asked by the girl DJ if he had someone special to celebrate with and Adam said “maaaaaybeeee” very coyly. Don’t know since it’s not on this clip

Also working on acceptance here LOL I’m not too sad though the real work begins right about now and Adam will do amazing.

Adam is the real winner. Because of last night I realize how many small & narrow minded people watch American Idol. Unfortunatelythat means the final outcome will never be based solely on talent and performance but by what type of box that particular voter can put you in. That is if you can fit in with all of their preconceived notions and predjudice…I guess some people forgot the old addage, 3′s a crowd. I won’t waste my time watching AI anymore but will of course loyally back Adam in whatever music undertaking he see’s fit to participate in! For me there is no Kris only ADAM.

OK, I feel better now that I’ve vented and then watched some of Adam’s after-the-finale interviews. He is such an amazing person. I Thank American Idol for giving us such a gifted performer and embracing his “beyond belief” talent. He makes me want to be a better person. I work with a ministry that helps homeless individuals. Adams outlook on life and looking for the common ground between individuals serves as a life’s lesson when finding a way to help those in need. You are indeed the American Idol of a Lifetime. Thanks Adam for the best American Idol Season EVER!!!!!

Despite being gifted with an incredible voice and, Adam at age 26 was still waiting for his big break (being an understudy in the touring company of Wicked was good experience, but definitely not the pinnacle of his dream!). I wanted him to win Idol very badly, was even a little obsessed, but hey, he seems to be doing just fine, so I think fans should take a cue from Lambert and get over it! Adam is now famous world wide, has some fantastic offers coming in, and will have more control over his immediate career without the iron clad contract that the “crown” requires. There is no way you can make the voting process fair…blase Californians probably hurt Allison’s chances too, but, hey, like Adam her name is out there and I think she’s gonna make it big time too! Its all good – I can’t wait to see what he does. I have no idea what he will do, but I’m sure it will be interesting. Kris won as fair and square as this contest can be as there is no way in the world to limit it to one person one vote, so kudos and good luck to him as well. Besides, I’m sure lots of Adam fans power voted as well!

I still feel bad for Adam, but it’s encouraging to see him being so positive after the interview. One thing’s for sure, it’s gonna be hard to top Adam in future seasons.

The first day I was just numb with tears behind my eyes, today I am so SAD!! Even with the videos and the knowledge that he is better off in second, it is just so wrong on so many levels, if this truly was a SINGING talent contest. The Kiss/Queen performances were like Adam’s own concert, in fact I was wishing Kris (who was off key) did not even have a part in the Queen song. Brian May kept looking at Adam with excitement in his eyes. I would have loved Adam’s interpretation of the whole song because when he started his part, I got chills and thought, “Freddie is back.” As far as Gene Simmons comment that Adam isn’t a rock star…..hmmmm jealousy maybe. Adam was THE ROCK STAR!! And boy did he look terrific. So I am sitting at my computer, looking at the blogs, trying to get past this travesty and get some kind of life back. I really am not going to watch Idol next year after this fiasco. Besides, I have already seen the best.
