It’s Simon Cowell’s 58th birthday today.

Tonight we will be watching the final episode of bootcamp. The 6 Chair Challenge starts tomorrow.

The Clique (Corey, Jason and Rowland)
Song Choice: TLC – No Scrubs
The boyband in high heels is murdering another girlband classic. I mean, this could certainly be worse. Is the crowd booing them? Yep.
Simon hated it. Nicole says they are dancers and should sing less and dance more. Simon says it wasn’t even fun. They are going home.

Daniel Quick
Song Choice: Michael Buble – Feeling Good
He is not sure about his song choice and he has some throat issues. He hopes to pull through. He sings and he doesn’t sound good. He is clearly struggling. Simon says to Daniel that he doesn’t think he is ready. To be honest, the boy is not talentless, but he isn’t outstanding. Even if he was, he doesn’t have the right look for a popstar. So, Daniel is sent home.

Scarett Lee
Song Choice: Elton John – Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me
The over-tanned make up artist worked hard to get rid of her bad singing habits. But she still has some pronunciation problems. The crowd likes her well enough. The judges noticed her confidence and it looks like they liked her performance. Sharon thinks she is a good singer, but doesn’t think she is the best. But Scarlett is going through to the 6 Chair Challenge.

Anthony Russell
Song Choice: Naughty Boy – Runnin’ (feat. Beyonce)
The judges didn’t like his performance in the previous round, so he wants to do better this round. If you don’t watch him jumping around the stage, he sounds okay. Simon asks him to try and keep still for a moment. He calls his performance manic and asks Anthony to sing acapella. Simon is worried that Anthony won’t be able to focus and control his nervous energy. The audience wants the judges to put Anthony through. Sharon wonders if he would be able to concentrate every Saturday night for a performance. In the end, they put him through to the 6 Chair Challenge.

RAK-SU
Song Choice: Original Song – Knock, Knock
They struggle doing covers, so they are doing an original song again. They are able to excite the crowd. The judges are making fun of the song title. Anyway, RAK-SU are through to the 6 Chair Challenge.

Tracey Leanne Jefford
Song Choice: The Ronettes – Be My Baby
She is confident about her song choice and seems to have a great time on stage. The judges seem pleased with her performance. She is through to the 6 Chair Challenge.

Slavko Kalezic
Song Choice: Rihanna – Where Have You Been
He comes Slavko from Montenegro. He is probably the last joke act left in the competition. He can perform, isn’t boring and isn’t the worst singer, either. He loses his braid mid-performance. In the end, the judges send him to the 6 Chair Challenge.

Deanna Mussington
Song Choice: Ed Sheeran – Thinking Out Loud
She is singing this one, because apparently it makes everyone happy. She has a good voice. The judges put her through.

Taliah Dalorto
Song Choice: Jess Glynne – Take Me Home
She sounds fine, but she is not outstanding. Judges put her through.

Nicole Caldwell
Song Choice: Alicia Keys – If I Ain’t Got You
She was really nervous at her first audition and she wants to overcome her nervousness. She sounds okay, but Simon stops her and says that she looks asleep on stage. It looks like she has confidence issues. Nicole ask her to sing again. This time she sounds more confident. She sounds like she is pushing her voice to sound more raspy. In the end, the judges decide to put her through. Sharon has little sympathy for her and tells her to get herself together.

Grace Davies
Song Choice: Original Song – Don’t Go
She had a great room audition with an original song. But she struggled with a cover in the first round of bootcamp. So, she is back to singing an original song. She will be playing the piano. It’s another perfectly nice original song. It’s a bit boring until the chorus, when the audience finally comes alive. The judges liked the song and decide to put her through to 6 Chair Challenge.

After the break it’s time to officially pair the 4 judges with their categories. Nicole wants to mentor the overs. Sharon doesn’t want to mentor the girls! Why? They are too young and Sharon doesn’t want to hurt any of them. Slavko Kalezic is hoping Nicole gets the overs. Simon wants the groups. Sharon wants the boys. Louis wants the groups. I think Louis would be okay with any category, as long as he doesn’t get the girls.

Nicole Scherzinger gets the overs!
Sharon Osbourne gets the girls!
Louis Walsh gets the boys!
