Did Simon Cowell order war of the judges to spice up X Factor after ratings slump?
After the tears, tantrums and histrionics of previous years, the new X Factor judges had all appeared to be the very best of friends.

Until, that is, the ratings dropped – and their new-found spirit of harmony and mutual appreciation mysteriously vanished.

This weekend’s shows saw Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh turn on each other, leading to rumours Miss Rowland is poised to quit the show.

Ousted X Factor contestant Sami Brookes wants to see her former mentor Louis Walsh kicked off the show.

The 31-year-old lambasted the veteran judge – the only one remaining from the last series – after he did not back her in a crucial vote on Sunday night’s elimination show.

‘Louis has got loads of experience, but it’s a new X Factor so they should have someone new, ‘ she said.

X Factor apology after Frankie Cocozza drops the F-word on live show
The X Factor was forced to apologise after heartthrob contestant Frankie Cocozza swore on the live broadcast well before the 9pm watershed.

The teenage wannabe uttered the expletive towards the end of Sunday night’s results show when he was told he was through to another week in the ITV talent competition.

As Sami Brookes and Kitty Brucknell were left in the bottom two, tousle-haired Cocozza, 18, jumped around the stage before embracing his mentor, Gary Barlow, and yelling: ‘F*****g have it, get in there.’

It’s meant to be about the birth of a star, but the judge’s egos always interfere on reality show The X Factor.

Instead of preparing her trio of girls for the next live show, Kelly Rowland has fled the country after a spectacular fall out with Tulisa Contostavlos.

The Destiny’s Child star is believed to have jetted back to her native USA, leaving Misha B, Janet Devlin and Sophie Habibis to fend for themselves.

So more fool X Factor wannabe Misha B for daring to cross judge Tulisa – and texting the star’s boyfriend behind her back.

Which may explain why Tulisa, 23, accused Misha of being a bully on Saturday night’s show…

It seems after meeting N-Dubz rapper Fazer backstage at the show – and swapping numbers with him – 19-year-old Misha proceeded to brag about it.

Which went down like a lead balloon with Tulisa (or “sexy T” as she’s known to boyfriend of 16 months Fazer, real name Richard Rawson).

X Factor’s Misha B admits: “I was a playground bully”
X FACTOR diva Misha Bryan admitted last night: “I was a playground bully.”

But the singer claimed she has turned over a new leaf and has never thrown her weight around on the show.

Hitting back at “unfair” jibes by the judges, Misha, 19, said: “I’ve made mistakes in the past but I’m a different person now.”

Brought up by an aunt, Misha was 10 when she discovered her mum had abandoned her at just three months.

To this day she still does not know who her dad is – and admits her childhood confusion and lack of any real identity sent her off the rails.

X Factor: Johnny Robinson blasts Tulisa over Misha B bullying claims and defends Louis Walsh
X FACTOR sensation Johnny Robinson has defended under-fire mentor Louis Walsh – insisting he’s always there for his acts.

The judge was cruelly heckled and booed during Sunday night’s show after refusing to take the vote to deadlock when two of his acts faced the chop.

Louis instead chose controversially to send Sami Brookes home.

X Factor: Misha B “not a bully” says show reject Melanie McCabe
STUNNING X Factor reject Melanie McCabe rubbished claims that pal Misha B is a bully.

The Dubliner, who was heartbroken when Kelly Rowland sent her packing at the judges’ houses stage, was back in London at the weekend for the live show.

And speaking to the Irish Daily Mirror, she said she was gobsmacked when Louis and Tulisa branded Misha a “bully” live on stage.

Whitehall teen Mel added: “I was shocked by the spat. It was uncomfortable to watch and I was gutted for my friend.

“Misha is not a bully, she’s one of the nicest girls I’ve ever met and I have no idea where that came from.

‘X Factor’ Rhythmix to change name following charity pressure
X Factor girlband Rhythmix have announced that they are to change their name.

The show had come under pressure from a children’s music charity of the same name after it tried to trademark “Rhythmix” in Europe.

“At the request of the charity Rhythmix, the members of the girl group Rhythmix have decided to change their name, a decision which has the support of Syco and TalkbackTHAMES, ” an X Factor spokesperson said.

“The group’s new name will be announced in due course”.

When he appeared on The X Factor back in 2005, Shayne Ward cultivated an image which saw him with brooding good looks and a shaved head.

So when the 27-year-old singer appeared on This Morning today with luxuriously full brown hair, his fans were left stunned.

Hundreds of fans took to Twitter to comment on Ward’s new look, with ‘Shayne Ward’ becoming a trending topic within minutes of his appearance on the ITV show.

They’re known for being a friendly bunch, but JLS truly outdid themselves at the launch of their third album, Jukebox.

But last night Kitty Brucknell appeared to have ignored the fact she wasn’t live on television, instead choosing another skimpy outfit for a night out in Soho.

The 26-year-old singer stepped out in a black bra and knickers set, fishnet tights, teal jacket and sparkly shoes as she hit London with fellow X Factor contestant Johnny Robinson.

Especially judge Gary Barlow who she has slammed for the way that he treats the talent show contestants.

The Irish singer said it is ‘excruciating’ watching the Take That star and the looks he gives the young hopefuls.

She said: ‘I find it hard to watch it because I can’t stand the way some of the judges treat the performers.

‘That guy Gary Barlow he has this horrible way of looking at people. If he was my son I’d be having a serious word with him about the way he’s talking to people or treating people. I find it excruciating to look at.’
