One Direction announce first UK tour
One Direction have announced plans to embark on their first UK tour.
The X Factor finalists will play 24 dates across the country, just over a year since they came third on the singing show competition.
The pop five-piece will start in Wolverhampton on December 21 and play through until January 26, where they will conclude the shows in Belfast.

Gary Barlow’s £1m Xmas bonus – X Factor judge will write the winner’s single
TAKE That’s Gary Barlow will write the X Factor winner’s Christmas single — and pocket £1million, The Sun can reveal.
The bonus comes on top of his £1.5million salary as the ITV show’s head judge.
Gary, 40, is set to pen songs for this year’s finalists, including the winner’s track which is virtually certain to hit No1.
Last night a top show source said: “The move will be a huge boost to the show’s credibility as it means the X Factor single won’t be just another cover.

She often speaks out about her tough upbringing and humble background, but Tulisa Contostavlos is being accused of making decisions on the X Factor based on the class of her contestants.
The N-Dubz singer is said to have axed popular boyband The Keys from her final line up for the live shows because they are too posh.
Three of the five singers, Rohan Kapoor, Nick Jackson and Dan Lipman, all aged 24, went to all went to £13, 794-a-year public school, St Albans School.

X Factor Tulisa Contostavlos ‘dumped Chasing Keys over wealthy past’
TULISA Contostavlos has been accused of dumping popular boyband Chasing Keys from The X Factor for being too POSH. Viewers will see the five-piece axed by their mentor this weekend. The lads are convinced that judge Tulisa — who had a tough upbringing — was put off by their privileged background.
An ITV1 insider insisted there is “no truth” in the band’s claims. One member, Charlie Healy, 25, was reprieved when Tulisa made him part of rival group The Risk.
Meanwhile, Bradley Johnson, 16, of fellow boyband Nu Vibe has been told off for referring to last year’s hit group One Direction as “One Dimension”.
He added: “We’re more urban. We won’t get nannies voting for us.” An insider said: “Bosses had a word.”

Robbie Williams’ dogs beat X Factor
ROBBIE Williams has ruled out becoming a judge on The X Factor — because he’d miss his eight dogs.
Robbie helped Take That pal Gary Barlow choose the final four boys in Los Angeles.
But he doesn’t want to join him permanently on the ITV1 show.
Robbie said: “Gary has found his feet really quickly. It would take me a long time. I would like to be in his position for one night, but not four months. What’s the point when I could be at home with the dogs? I didn’t get in this game to work.”
Robbie, 37, is so devoted to his mutts they were bridesmaids at his wedding last year to Ayda Field.
