X Factor UK returns on August 31st! Watch new 1D Key of Awesome parody!
Season 10 of X Factor UK is about to start soon! I will open a new post right before every audition episode and post the videos of the most notable auditions as soon as they are uploaded to X Factor UK’s YouTube channel and more coverage about the contestants. As usual, the first few weeks of the season will be a hunt to find the best live feeds possible. Expect season 10 spoilers here soon. :)
IT’S OFFICIAL: The X Factor Starts Saturday 31st August
And… we’re back! That’s right folks – if you have plans for Saturday 31st August, cancel them NOW because this is when The X Factor returns to your TV screens, at 8pm. And from the very beginning you’ll be getting a double helping of X Factor goodness as we’ll also be on Sunday 1st September at 8pm.
Excited? You should be.
To celebrate the 10th series of The Greatest Show on Television (you know it’s true) and to make it more exciting for you all at home we have made a few nifty changes.
First up, the room is BACK as part of our brand new X Factor double-whammy audition weekends.
That’s right, budding hopefuls will be doing their best to impress the judges in a face-to-face, eyeball-to-eyeball audition. It’s going to be intense, emotional, highly-charged and just plain scary – and the contestants will need to receive at least three ‘yeses’, before they can get through to the next round.
If they do, then they’ll face a slightly larger audience. 4,000 to be exact, at London’s Wembley arena where they could become one of the lucky ones to make it through to Bootcamp.
And, as you probably know (unless you’ve been under a rock recently), we’ll be seeing the return of rock royalty, Sharon Osbourne, to the panel. She’ll be joining Take That superstar Gary Barlow, US pop beauty Nicole Scherzinger and manager extraordinaire Louis Walsh, as they search for the UK’s next big music sensation.
So, what we’re saying is… it’s going to be a good‘un!
So tune in: Saturday 31 August, ITV, 8pm and Sunday 1st September at 8pm.

Gary Barlow to leave ‘The X Factor’, says Dermot O’Leary
Gary Barlow is to exit The X Factor, Dermot O’Leary has revealed.
According to PA, the presenter said that the 42-year-old Take That star will “be leaving at the end of this year”.

They may spend most of their time travelling around the world without their families, have more tattoos between them than most adults and are constantly linked to older women.
But it seems One Direction are still big kids at heart as they proved during a press conference for their hotly-anticipated 3D film This Is Us on Monday.
Appearing alongside the film’s director Morgan Spurlock the boyband decided to start a massive popcorn fight before getting down to the serious business of discussing their film.

One Direction’s fans were sent into a spin over the weekend when it was rumoured that Liam Payne has got himself a new girlfriend.
And now the singer has confirmed he is indeed dating his old school friend Sophia Smith.
The 19-year-old – who split up with dancer Danielle Peazer in May – has recently started a relationship with Sophia, who he has known since they both attended St. Peter’s Collegiate in Wolverhampton.

It was the moment One Direction fans had all been waiting for – the chance to get a glimpse of the boys as they descended upon Leicester Square on Tuesday night.
And they weren’t disappointed as Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan all showed up for the premiere of their movie One Direction: This Is Us.
Thousands of One Direction fans had camped out in the area for a prime red carpet spot ahead of the screening.

The world went crazy yesterday in London’s Leicester Square.
The sun was shining, the birds were singing and thousands upon thousands of girls with ‘I love Harry’ and ‘I Heart Niall’ scrawled across their foreheads, cheeks, arms, legs, hands, necks and feet in felt-tip pen jumped up and down, yelled their heads off and wept.
They wore One Direction T-shirts, One Direction hats, One Direction necklaces and clutched One Direction dolls and banners that read ‘Harry You Wanna Marry me?’ ‘I love you Niall’ and ‘Louis I love your bum’.

One Direction’s ‘This Is Us’ Film Premiere Causes Hysteria In London
The British capital rang out to teenage screams the likes of which has not been seen in decades as pop sensations One Direction hit the red carpet for the world premiere of “1D: This Is Us.”
Band members Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson rocked the red carpet amid ear-splitting decibel levels of screams from an estimated 70,000 fans. Leicester Square had to be sealed off by the police as the crowds swelled to capacity at the central London location.

Little Mix have re-recorded ‘Wings’ in Korean
Little Mix have recorded a Korean version of their marching bandtastic empowerment anthem, ‘Wings’.
The new version – called ‘??’ – appeared on the South Korean online retailer Melon yesterday and features verses sung mainly in Korean (the choruses are in English, however).
