Simon Cowell has reportedly axed Caroline Flack, 36, from her presenting role on The X Factor.
The reports come as last year’s new judge, Nick Grimshaw, 31, confirmed he had quit the show, despite claims that he too had been axed, according to The Sun newspaper.
A spokesperson for the radio DJ said: ‘After careful consideration, Nick has decided to rule himself out as a judge on this year’s X Factor.

He’s revealed he won’t be returning to The X Factor when it returns later this year.
But for Nick Grimshaw, 31, the writing could have already been on the wall as long ago as the series opener last August.
A source told The Sun that Simon Cowell, 56, had made his mind up on Grimshaw’s future following the negative response to the DJ’s first pre-recorded appearance and that he had been a ‘dead man walking’ for months.

Olly Murs has sensationally quit his presenting role on X Factor.
In an interview with The Sun, he said that he made the decision last month, adding: ‘My heart belongs to music.’
The 31-year-old also told the paper: ‘This was an incredibly hard decision to make and one I didn’t take lightly as I’ve really enjoyed co-hosting The X Factor.

The X Factor line-up has been thrown into chaos with new judge Nick Grimshaw confirming he’s quitting the panel after just one run on Friday.
Now the race is on to find a replacement for the BBC Radio 1 presenter and it’s thought Simon Cowell’s act Louis Tomlinson and good friend and axed judge Louis Walsh will go head-to-head to claim the spot, according to a new report.
A source told The Sun: ‘Louis Tomlinson is very likely to replace Grimmy. He agreed in principle to the job while assisting Simon Cowell during the Judges’ Houses round last year.’

The most recent series of X Factor saw ratings plunge and just yesterday Nick Grimshaw resigned as a judge.
But amid all the chaos X Factor boss Simon Cowell is said to see a bright shining light in Rita Ora and the focus is on securing the I Will Never Let You Down singer again, on the show.
Speaking to The Daily Star, an insider revealed: ‘Rita is his No1 target. He sees her as being the one person that could save the series and make it great again.’
