X Factor 2013 final 24 revealed! Meet the judges’ houses contestants
The X Factor 2013 judges’ houses contestants have been revealed, as the final 24 acts were confirmed.

Over the past two days at bootcamp, we’ve seen the judges whittle down the 100 or so successful auditionees down to just six in each of the four categories.

Next weekend each judge will have to pick only three to progress through to the live shows which start later in October.

With bootcamp over, it’s on to the judges’ houses for The X Factor 2013 final 24.

The route to the live shows draws tantalisingly closer for the remaining X Factor contestants as they jet off to Judges’ Houses in a bid to land a coveted place in the final 12.

Offering a glimpse into the jet set lifestyle that the winner of the competition could have, the four categories travel to glamorous destinations across the world. With just one more chance to impress their mentor, each act will be hoping to convince them that they have the star quality required to reach the live shows.

And this weekend’s shows will see the four panellists – Nicole Scherzinger, Gary Barlow, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh – jet off to a series of exotic locations with their respective groups in tow.

Not only will the aspiring pop icons have the pleasure of being flown to a swanky destination for their final audition, but the stakes will be even higher with their individual mentors joined by a host of famous faces.

As X Factor hopefuls prepare for the nerve wrenching live auditions next Saturday, ITV bosses have made the race to become the winner of the show more harder.

The budding singing stars could end up having to sing for survival if viewers take an instant dislike to them in a new voting system.

The intense new flash vote will take place at the end of the show and will only allow viewers ten-minutes to save their favourite act from facing elimination.

Once the votes have been verified, one of the bottom two contestants who will face the sing-off will be revealed on the Saturday night.

News: One Direction to record fourth album on tour
1D developing as songwriters on move

One Direction are planning on finishing their fourth album off while on the road.

With a world tour underway, the guys – comprising Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson – will travel with a mobile recording studio next year.

An insider told The Sun: “One Direction will travel with their own studio in tow when they play stadium dates.

“It’s going to cost a few quid but then, considering the amount of cash they’re making on the tour, they can afford it.”

“The boys are all writing more and more themselves these days so it will allow them to develop as songwriters.

“Because of the shows across the globe they’ll have no time out to record so this is the best way to get the fourth album done.”
