Nick Jonas has been campaigning like crazy for a seat on the American Idol judges’ panel, but in the meantime, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the Jonas brother and Broadway alum will be lending a hand to Demi Lovato as a mentor on the X Factor.
FOX won’t confirm it, but spoilers have revealed that Demi has been assigned the 12-16 year olds. This year, X Factor has reconfigured their categories, and again, according to spoilers, Britney will take charge of the 17-24 year olds, LA Reid the Over 25s and Simon Cowell the groups.
I don’t know if Nick’s stint is a try out for American Idol or a consolation prize from FOX. But we’ll find out as soon as the American Idol judges panel is announced!
