And in keeping with the trend of new and innovative theme weeks *cough* The X Factor Top 10 will sing songs by UK artists in a British Invasion themed performance episode. One Direction performs their new single, “Story of my Life” on Thursday’s results show.

THE X FACTOR continues on Wednesday, Nov. 20 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), as the Top 10 Finalists perform songs by U.K. artists on British invasion night. On Thursday, Nov. 21(8:00-9:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), another act will be sent home, and the world’s biggest boy band, One Direction, returns to THE X FACTOR stage for the world debut performance of their single, “Story of My Life,” from their highly anticipated new album, “Midnight Memories.” With two albums to date, “Up All Night” and “Take Me Home,” the boys have sold more than 35 million records worldwide and have achieved a total of 64 No. 1 songs.
