Those who watched the X Factor Thursday night were likely shocked when Sweet Suspense, 3 girls who were put together by Simon Cowell for his groups category, and Rachel Potter from Kelly Rowland’s over-25s were eliminated from the competition.
The acts were surprised too, as they reveal in X Factor exit interviews.
Rachel Potter will head back to the grind in Nashville, but feels she has more momentum behind her now. “Even when you think you’re safe,”says Rachel, “You might not be.”
The teen girls who make up Sweet Suspense seem gutted in their interview. The girl on the left, sixteen year old Celine, can barely speak. They want to stay together, but unless Simon signs and supports them, it doesn’t seem feasible, as the girls live in far-flung parts of the country.
