The Tony Bennett/Amy Winehouse duet, “Body and Soul” has been released today. Amy, who fought drug and alcohol addiction, was found dead in her London home on July 23rd. Today would have been Amy’s 28th birthday.
Proceeds from the single will go to the Amy Winehouse foundation, which will support organizations that help young people who are vulnerable, including those with addictions.

Watch Tony and Amy perform the soulful classic, “Body and Soul” in the new video, also released today. This just makes my heart cry. In a feature for the ABC news magazine, 20/20, Tony reveals that he had been addicted to drugs at one point himself, and wished he had reached out to her. He would have told her, “You’re going to die if you don’t stop.” Heartbreaking.
