It was neck-and-neck at 8 p.m. between a one-hour edition of The X Factor on Fox (6.9 rating/11 share), which was down by eight percent from the first half of the year-ago telecast; and Survivor: Philippines on CBS (#2: 6.8/10), which increased by eight percent from the year-ago edition set in the South Pacific. Results among adults 18-49 should be similarly close, and both are worthy of being labeled a “winner.”
