Deadline, reporting from the NBC Upfronts: The Voice will premiere on September 10
NBC‘s push to launch part of its fall lineup early to take advantage of the August coverage of the Olympics will be anchored by the first fall cycle of The Voice. At today’s upfront presentation, NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt announced that the third season of The Voice will premiere on September 10, likely followed by the debut of the new JJ Abrams/Eric Kripke drama Revolution.
That’s pushed up a week from last season’s fall premieres.
