iTunes Rankings as of 12 pm

Oh boy, were the charts volatile between last night and noon or what? Red Marlow hit the No 1 spot first, replaced by Chloe Kohanski and finally Addison Agen.  It took a minute for Chloe to catch up with the rest of the Top 4, She didn’t begin to dominate until later in the night.  When I opened iTunes at 12 pm, Red’s cover had fallen out of the Top 10. Also, it’s nice that Addison has three songs in the Top 10, but coaches duets do NOT count as votes!

It was a real fight to the finish on iTunes for once. And it was fun to watch. Still, looking at the Top 200 overall, Chloe continues her dominating ways.

1. Addison Agen – Tennessee Rain
2. Chloe Kohanski – Wish I Didn’t Love You
3.  Red Marlow – I Pray
4. Brooke Simpson – O Holy Night
6. Addison Agen – Humble and Kind
7.  Chloe Kohanski – Bette Davis Eyes
8. Brooke Simpson – What is Beautiful
10. Addison Agen & Adam Levine – Falling Slowly
11.  Red Marlow – To Make You Feel My Love
13. Chloe Kohanski & Blake Shelton – You Got It
19. Brooke Simpson & Miley Cyrus – Wrecking Ball
28. Red Marlow & Blake Shelton – I’m Gonna Miss Her

Misc.

22. Chloe Kohanski – I Want to Know What Love Is
27. Chloe Kohanski – Total Eclipse of the Heart

52. Chloe Kohanski – Time After Time

YOUR POLL RESULTS

Favorite Original Song

These results seem reasonable to me.  In “Tennessee Rain” Addison’s storytelling abilities were on full display. Although YMMV! Chloe’s vocals during her original song revealed some wear and tear, but overall, it was a solid, heartfelt performance.  Brooke’s original song fit perfectly into the current “me too” zeitgeist with a message that was obviously close to her heart.  Red deserves kudos for performing the only co-penned song of the night.

  1. Addison Agen – Team Adam – Tennessee Rain 41.64%
  2. Chloe Kohanski – Team Blake – Wish I Didn’t Love You 34.66%
  3. Brooke Simpson – Team Miley – What is Beautiful 16.49%
  4. Red Marlow – Team Blake – I Pray 7.21%

Favorite Coaches Duet

The coaches duets were my least favorite performances of the night. Addison sang rings around Adam. Miley hogged the spotlight. Chloe’s voice sounded tired. Red and Blake were as generic as can be.

  1. Addison Agen & Adam Levine – Falling Slowly 44.77%
  2. Brooke Simpson & Miley Cyrus – Wrecking Ball 24.93%
  3. Chloe Kohanski & Blake Shelton – You Got It 23.73%
  4. Red Marlow & Blake Shelton – I’m Gonna Miss Her 6.57%

Favorite New Cover

Of the four songs, Read and Addison made the best choices.  Chloe and Brooke’s risk-free choices didn’t impress as much. I would probably swap Chloe and Red! Don’t kill me. Heh.

  1. Addison Agen – Team Adam – Humble and Kind by Lori McKenna 33.81%
  2. Chloe Kohanski – Team Blake – Bette Davis Eyes by Kim Carnes 29.24%
  3. Brooke Simpson – Team Miley – O Holy Night (Trad. Christmas Carol) 28.33%
  4. Red Marlow – Team Blake – Make You Feel My Love by Bob Dylan (Garth Brooks) 8.62%

Who SHOULD win The Voice?

Seems reasonable.

  1. Addison Agen – Team Adam 44.43%
  2. Chloe Kohanski – Team Blake 35.59%
  3. Brooke Simpson – Team Miley 17.43%
  4. Red Marlow – Team Blake 2.54%

Who WILL win The Voice?

Ditto. Though I might rank Red No. 3. Can’t count out the country fans.

  1. Chloe Kohanski – Team Blake 61.02%
  2. Addison Agen – Team Adam 26.37%
  3. Brooke Simpson – Team Miley 7.39%
  4. Red Marlow – Team Blake 5.22%

Grade the SEASON

Overall, ya’ll were loving the season. A B+! And I would agree. This was one talented bunch of singers.

  • A 41.72%
  • B 39.74%
  • C 12.09%
  • F 3.31%
  • D 3.14%

Prediction: Although Addison tops the iTunes charts currently, Choe continues to dominate. Considering that ALL the downloads and streams from the lives count as votes during the finale, I think Chloe has got this. Plus she’s got people. PEOPLE. Here’s my prediction for the Top 4: 1. Chloe Kohanski 2. Addison Agen 3. Red Marlow 4. Brooke Simpson.

However. I’m not feeling 100% confident, as say, I felt regarding the wins of Sundance Head, Jordan Smith and Sawyer Fredericks. The volatility of the charts, and Brooke coming on strong at the end of the season means we COULD be in for a surprise tonight. Wouldn’t that be exciting.
