There wasn’t a vocalist tonight jumped out as strong an artist as Ray Quinn did last night. Tonight’s closer, Joe Maye, was hella entertaining with his crazy eyes and ability to evoke all the nutty obsessiveness “I Put A Spell On You” requires, but it remains to be seen if that was a one off or a sign of great performances to come.
Justin Whisnant has the potential to be a strong country contender on Blake’s team. Maya Smith could be pretty great too if she cleans up her pitch issues.
Remember: Tomorrow’s two hour episode of The Voice is a clippity clip show. Do you need to catch up? You’re in luck. Have you been following along with us the past couple of weeks? You can afford to skip it unless you want to watch repeat performances with extra coach hijinks thrown in on the side.
We’ll be back Monday March 14 to Live Blog “Blinds End Battles Begin.” One spot is open on each Team Adam, Team Blake and Team Christina. TWO spots are open on Team Pharrell. That’s a total of 5 Blind Auditions to go. After the Blinds tie up, the Battles will begin! Watch for previews right here.
In the meantime, TAKE THE POLLS. Vote for your favorites.
