This performance from tonight’s The Voice Battle Round made Team Pharrell Williams adviser, Missy Elliott, cry.
Mark Hood and Celeste Betton are sensational as they channel Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell singing “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” What I like about this performance: The two have tremendous voices and don’t spare the vocal ad libs. But I never get the sense they are singing AT each other. This feels like a real duet between two old pros. Impressive.
