The Top 20 was revealed on tonight’s The Voice as the Knockout Rounds came to an end.

Note: There will be no live blog tomorrow (Nov 3) due to NBC’s airing of a clip show. NOTHING TO SEE HERE FOLKS. However, next week, there will be THREE BIG NIGHTS of show for the Live Playoffs. Ten singers perform on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, for YOUR votes. The Top 12 are revealed  on Wednesday. Each broadcast begins at 8/7c pm on NBC.

I’ve got to say, I am really impressed with Rihanna as the Knockout Rounds key adviser. She wasn’t just hanging around for the exposure–she dug in and really mentored those kids. The surprise for me? I was expecting the majority of her advice to be performance based, but she mostly she had very good tips on vocal technique. It leads me to believe she’s worked hard to make the most of the talent she has. Rihanna is just hard working and ambitious all the way around, and a great example for anyone who wants a career in show business.

The results of tonight’s matchups offered no big surprises or disappointments. I wish Pharrell could have found a way to hang on to Tim Atlas. It was another example of a stolen contestant being sacrificed to protect a favorite. Evan McKeel has been promoted by the show from day 1, and was not going anywhere under any circumstances. And with good reason! He’s a talented and versatile singer. Will Pharrell cast him as a soul or rock singer? Or will he mix it up? Also, if it were me, I would have stolen Riley Biederer over Regina Love. Unpopular opinion, I know, but I didn’t find her song choice or performance particularly inspired. I feel like I know what to expect from the hopelessly old fashioned Regina, while Riley could have some surprises up her sleeves. The good news is they both made the Playoffs anyway. The bad news? Neither is a front runner and may not survive to the finals.

Poor montaged contestants, Zach Seabaugh and Chris Crump. Not gonna to lie, I’m not all that busted up Chris Crump left The Voice without one last performance. I’ve been bitter ever since Americana singer, Krista Hughes lost her battle to the now eliminated singer. Yes, I’m terrible.

Polls galore tonight! Vote for your favorites in the round, vote for your favorites over all.
