The Voice 8 Live Finals begin tonight as the Top 12 hit the stage for your votes. Eight singers were chopped from the competition during last week’s live playoffs and the performers we were left with were actually pretty predictable! For once, my elimination prediction was correct, down to which contestants would be saved by their respective coaches.

Here’s how I think the finalists rank ahead of tonight’s show. Of course, after tonight, this list could completely change! At this stage of the game, early front runners can recede, while talent emerges from unexpected places.

How would YOU rank The Voice 8 Top 12?
1. Sawyer Fredericks – Team Pharrell Williams – Sawyer led iTunes last week and has been consistently topping our reader polls on the blog. He could win the entire competition.
2. Joshua Davis – Team Adam Levine – A throwback to 70’s singer songwriters, the likable Joshua seems to have a universal appeal. He’s the strongest team member on Team Adam.
3. Mia Z – Team Pharrell Williams – Teen blues singer, Mia Z, nails the classic tunes she covers, dazzling fans with an impressive range. Last week, she didn’t even need her whistle range to impress. She could be the last girl standing.
4. Corey Kent White – Team Blake Shelton – This affable, adorable, radio ready country singer is definitely a contender.
5. Kimberly Nichole – Team Christina Aguilera – Kimberly wowed last week with a performance of “What’s Up,” but can she keep the momentum going?
6. Deanna Johnson – Team Adam Levine – Deanna charted high on iTunes last week with a gospel song. She also closed the show to high praise from the coaches. A bit of a nervous nelly, we’ll see if she can keep the momentum going.
7. Koryn Hawthorne – Team Pharrell Williams – Koryn – Koryn delivered an imperfect vocal last week, but her emotional take on a gospel song struck a chord. Can Pharrell help to polish this young diamond in the rough? She’s got the potential, for sure.
8. India Carney – Team Christina Aguilera – The well-trained and professional India delivered a theatrical performance last week which did not seem to resonate with viewers, judging by her iTunes numbers. But with the right songs, this talented singer could fly right to the top.
9. Meghan Linsey – Team Blake Shelton – I love Meghan, but I can’t help seeing her as more than a mid-packer. She’s transitioning from country to R&B, and that could be her downfall. She’s a gifted singer, but isn’t quite in tune with contemporary R&B.
10. Brian Johnson – Team Adam Levine – Adam saved Brian from elimination. His sincerity is appealing, but I don’t think he’ll last in this competitive field of talented singers.
11. Hannah Kirby – Team Blake Shelton – Hannah was Blake’s save last week. With her odd intonation and stage presence, I don’t think Hannah is going to last past the next couple of weeks.
12. Rob Taylor – Team Christina Aguilera – Rob had to be saved by Christina, which is a shame, because his performance of “Earned It” was one of the night’s best, and yet he did not click with viewers. The song’s low ranking iTunes surprised me. I think he’s in danger of leaving this week.
